The Sporty Personality of the 2019 Nissan Kicks

The 2019 Nissan Kicks has personality unlike most SUVs today. It comes with a variety of customization options, so you can enjoy a colourful S edition or go for the SV or SR with a two-tone roof.

Nissan’s signature floating roof design, V-motion grille, and chic styling make it hard to mistake this small SUV for any other. When you choose the SV or SR, you can mix and match body colours for a two-tone colour choice. These models also have heated side mirrors, fog lights, and intelligent automatic headlights.

Great Drivability and Performance in the 2019 Nissan Kicks

As its name implies, the Kicks was designed for fun. Drivers will appreciate the vehicles’ dynamic drive technologies. It smooths the ride and helps the Kicks hug corners. The lightweight design ensures a favourable weight-to-horsepower ratio.

Under the hood, a four-cylinder engine generates 122 horsepower. Mated with an Xtronic continuously variable transmission, it is rated 7.7/6.6 L/100 KM (city/highway).

Intelligent emergency braking is standard. If a frontal collision is inevitable, the Kicks can activate emergency braking. You can also get a blind-spot warning to help you make safer lane changes. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has named the Kicks a “Top Safety Pick” when it’s equipped with LED low-beam headlamps.

2019 Nissan Kicks Trims and Features

Nissan’s Zero-Gravity seating keeps the driver more comfortable on long commutes and trips. The rear seat split folds, allowing you to claim more cargo space. Cargo volume is rated 716 litres.

S trim standards include a D-shaped steering wheel, push-button start, a Nissan seven-inch touch colour display, and a rearview camera. Other details include illuminated steering-wheel-mounted controls, a USB connection port, and two USB charging ports.

Heated seats are an SV standard. You also get advanced connectivity for Apple and Android phones. Apple Map or Google Maps can appear on your touch screen.

SR editions add a remote engine starter for practical purposes and the Bose Personal Plus Sound System for your gratification. This includes two UltraNearField speakers in the driver’s headrest. The cabin has Prima-Tex upholstery and a leather-clad steering wheel and shift knob.

Another SR standard, the Intelligent Around View Monitor shows you a birds-eye view. Along with the Moving Object Detection system, it gives you more security when performing slow manoeuvres.
